Description: This direct current generator (dynamo) from the legendary First Republic company Elektrotechnická akciová společnost dříve Kolben a spol. Prague (type NGM 1/6, serial number 32232) represents a unique collector's artifact from the early era of Czechoslovak electrification. Designed for continuous operation (2600 rpm), the device has a power output of 60 W at 20 V and 3 A, and was originally used in workshops or laboratories for local lighting power or charging early accumulators. The dynamo is equipped with a cast-iron chassis with a side drive pulley, bearing lubricators, a complete terminal block with a connecting cable, and most notably, a beautifully preserved, perfectly legible brass manufacturer's plate with complete parameters. Thanks to its authentic patina and direct connection to Emil Kolben, the founder of the Czech electrical engineering industry, it is a highly valuable piece for collectors of historical technology or an exclusive industrial decoration.
