Description: This precise historical surveying instrument from the late 19th century is a cylindrical pantometer, used by surveyors, foresters, and builders for setting out right angles and accurately measuring horizontal angles in the field. Its robust body, made of patinated brass, consists of two rotating cylindrical parts, between which a finely engraved angular scale (limbus) is placed for precise readings. Targeting measured objects was carried out through longitudinal sighting slits (diopters). The instrument includes a detachable tube, a bottom thread for attachment to a measuring staff or tripod, and its original wooden case with brass hooks. MUST BE COLLECTED IN PERSON.
