Description: Metal pliers with original dark green lacquer, designed for safe and firm gripping, twisting, and releasing of pressurized cork stoppers from sparkling wine and champagne bottles. One of the handles is embossed with the manufacturer's mark TACL and a French patent mark, which is a historical trademark used in France until 1968. The pliers operate on a lever principle, where wide profiled jaws firmly grip the circumference of the cork, preventing its uncontrolled expulsion. The tool bears authentic signs of use, patina, and slight surface oxidation on the central rivet, but the construction is fully solid and functional.
