Description: A wooden decimal scale consists of a large loading platform and a smaller weighing pan. The basic structure includes a wooden base and vertical support elements that hold a metal weighing mechanism with rods and chains. The loading platform is assembled from wooden planks reinforced with metal bands. The smaller weighing pan is also made of wood, suspended by metal chains. The original paint on the wooden parts is partially worn off. The metal components are covered with corrosion. Decimal scales were used for measuring the weight of goods in shops, on farms, and at markets, representing a historical method of weighing.
