Description: This plate dates from around 1900 and is marked as a product by Hardtmuth, Vienna and České Budějovice. The blue floral decor on the plate is the result of underglaze printing and creates a beautiful contrast to its background. Thanks to this technology, the plate has fine glaze cracks (craquelé), which emphasize its age and historical character. Numerical and textual marks identifying the original manufacturer are embossed on the underside of the plate. The condition is consistent with its age, including slight glaze wear.
