Description: Stoneware preserving jar with a brown salt glaze and embossed inscriptions "Obst-Einkoch-Krug K. J. W. Ströder Mogendorf". Origin Germany, Westerwald region, circa 1900. It was used for preserving jams and fruits, with the original cork stopper preserved.
