Description: A porcelain tea set from the Lichte manufactory, Thuringia (founded 1822), produced during the GDR period. The set consists of a cup, saucer, and dessert plate. The surface is adorned with a rich cobalt background with lavish gilded ornamental decor, while the inside of the cup is white with a delicate gold line. On the underside is a gold mark “Fine China Lichte – Made in GDR – Echt Kobalt” with the founding year of the manufactory 1822. A typical example of porcelain from the 2nd half of the 20th century, suitable for collectors and as a decorative accessory.
