Description: This decorative glass object or paperweight showcases artistic craftsmanship from solid clear glass, dominated by a central circular disc with a textured surface in a combination of deep green and amber yellow. In the middle of the colored core, a white sculpture with the profile of Egyptian Queen Nefertiti is embedded using a pressing technique (similar to sulphide glass). The entire object has an organic, slightly irregular circular shape with a flat ground base for stable positioning and is complemented by several radial incisions around the inner medallion, which enhance the optical refraction of light. Although a specific brand is not visible in the photograph, this style of studio glass with figural motifs was typical for Czechoslovak glassworks production in the 1960s and 1970s, such as Železnobrodské sklo or Borské sklo.
