Description: This elegant vase made of pinkish glass (rosaline shade) is a representative work by glass artist Miloslav Klinger, produced at Železnobrodské sklárny (Železný Brod Glassworks). Its organic shape with a dynamically curved and raised upper rim is a typical feature of mid-20th century Czechoslovak design, which emphasized graceful lines and modern aesthetics. The central part of the vase's body is adorned with a finely sandblasted motif of a blooming rose, while the massive lower part is distinguished by prominent lenticular cuts that create interesting optical effects in the thick-walled glass.
