Description: This clear glass vase is an iconic example of Czechoslovak pressed glass from the Brussels style period. The author of this distinctive geometric design is the renowned glass artist František Pečený, who designed it for the Sklo Union – Heřmanova huť glassworks. The vase has a cylindrical shape divided into several stepped tiers formed by plastic square and lenticular elements (known as "cubes" or "windows" optics). This structured surface creates beautiful optical refractions and reflections when light passes through. The glass is massive and heavy, and the vase is in excellent condition without visible chips or cracks, making it a great addition to both modern and retro interiors.
