Description: This First Republic era oval butter dish with a lid originates from the renowned Julius Dietl & Co. porcelain factory in Svatava near Sokolov (brand Phoenix China Czecho-Slovakia) and represents an elegant example of period spa souvenir porcelain. The set, consisting of a bottom tray, an inner dish with the golden inscription Karlovy-Vary, and a bell-shaped lid with a gilded handle, captivates with its pearlescent iridescent surface, rich gold decor, and dark blue edges. The lid is adorned with detailed colorful vedutas of iconic spa buildings – the Mill Colonnade and the Hot Spring Colonnade.
