Description: A cylindrical wooden barrel, typical of the 19th century, made from wooden staves and bound with forged iron hoops. Its dark surface with visible texture is complemented by an upper neck with a removable wooden stopper. A metal handle is firmly attached to the top part of the barrel, while the bottom is flat and circular. Such portable vessels served farmers, pilgrims, and soldiers for storing and carrying water, wine, or spirits.
